- Hit Points (HP) specify the amount of the damage that can potentially be inflicted by a weapon. When an attack lands, one or more dice are rolled to determine the Hit Points that is actually inflicted. This number is reduced by the target's Armor Rating, then the remaining value (a.k.a Damage Points), is deducted from the target's Vitality.
