A workbench is a bowyer's working place for creating ranged weapons and ammunition for them. For this you need an appropriate recipe, the right ingredients and a sufficiently high Bowyery Talent value.
These workbenches can be found at fixed locations in Aventuria. For 50 ducats you can ask Caretaker Muddlemosh to install a workbench in Ardo's Residence.
